Incisive Canal

CT nicely shows normal Incisive Canal in this 16 years old patient. It leads from the floor of the nasal cavity into the incisive fossa on the palatal surface of the maxilla. It contains nasopalatine nerves from the floor of the nasal cavity along with the sphenopalatine arteries supplying the oral mucosa covering the hard palate of the mouth. Also called Incisor Canal.
